Led by Managing Principal Jay Ress, in 2006 Technology Management Associates became The Outset Group.  Our original business plan built on ten years of project management contracting services in technology and health care.  As The Outset Group, we expanded our client base and took on challenging, high visibility projects in Nashville and across the U.S.

We became recognized for our accomplishments, and played a leading role in the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). It was a natural progression to add live and online training to our service portfolio, most notably with the State of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, Ingram Content, Deloitte Global, Community Health Systems, NASA, Bridgestone/Firestone, Aetna Insurance, the US Air Force, Asurion, Nissan, Aramark, PMI, and other well-known organizations.
